Who is Winning in the P2P Payments War

There is a brewing war in the p2p payments space with Venmo and Zelle battling over who is the leader; in looking at the data banks are actually the biggest with more than $172bn in transaction volume; while Zelle has higher transaction volume Venmo has higher adoption with almost 25 percent of millennials in their 20’s; about half of those who make mobile p2p payments use more than one service; overall there is not a clear winner in the p2p payments space as it really depends on who their user is and why they are using a particular service.
