Peer2Peer Finance News shares a ‘where are they now?’ piece which includes the founders of Zopa, Funding Circle and RateSetter; all companies still have at least one founder still working in the business today; Zopa was the very first p2p lender and had five original founders with the vision to create the eBay for money; Giles Andrews is the only one who is still involved in the business having previously been chief executive and he now serves as a senior board member; Funding Circle was founded by three friends at Oxford and Samir Desai still serves as CEO today; RateSeter was founded in 2010 by Rhydian Lewis and Peter Behrens who both still continue to work in the business; Rhydian Lewis is CEO and Peter Behrens is Chief Commercial Officer.
