One of Europe’s hottest fintech startups Revolut plans to seek a banking license in Russia as the Lithuania government delays approval for their current application; Revolut’s CEO is rumored to have ties to Russia that worries Lithuania but the company has always said they have nothing to hide; Revolut has hired an elite global licensing team to help it secure the correct regulatory licenses as they plan to expand to the U.S., Asia and beyond.
