Remittance Fintech Pangea Launches Bank Account

Remittance fintech Pangea is launching a bank account tied to their current product due to user based feedback; “It was this idea that the bank wasn’t really ‘for them,’ but it was something they had to have” to make remittances, Shafiq Shariff, VP of Product said to American Banker. “That was the inspiration.”; Pangea has partnered with Green Dot’s banking as a service product to launch the account; customers can expect a Visa debit card, no monthly maintenance fees, overdraft fees or minimum balance requirements.
