Rapyd Raises $40 Million

Rapyd is a fintech as a service startup and announced that they had raised $40 million which was co-led by Stripe and General Catalyst; the company is based in Silicon Valley but has an R&D office in Tel Aviv; the company claims to have around 50 customers in areas like e-commerce and the gig economy; Rapyd currently offers a suite of services across funds collection, funds payouts, currency transfers, ID verification and card issuing.
