Plaid Announces Investments Product Through Quovo

Plaid acquired competitor Quovo earlier this year and has just announced their first offering through the company, Investments; the new API will allow customers to pull investment data into their apps; “I think that the origins of the product comes from a company that I co-founded and also broader demand that Plaid has seen in the past several years. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that a lot of our customers want the full 360-degree view of their clients,” Lowell Putnam, former CEO and Co-Founder of Quovo, told TechCrunch; the new product is now available in the U.S. and will be rolled out to other markets over the next year.
