Onfido Sees Huge Jump in Sales for First Half of 2020

Remote ID is quickly becoming part of the new normal and identification verification startup Onfido has been the benefactor; the company saw a 69 percent jump in sales during the first half of 2020, 22 percent driven by new customers; U.S. sales have skyrocketed by 264 percent year on year; CEO and Co-Founder Husayn Kassai tells AltFi, “as companies realize the time to enable their digital services is now, making it imperative they can remotely identify and authenticate users safely and securely and in a way that doesn’t restrict their ability to scale or impede user experience.”; Onfido also added 50 new roles and increased their worldwide workforce to more than 400.
