New Digital Banking Startup Focused on Better Serving US Immigrants

The company is called Majority and aims to support immigrants who lack credit history; they are planning to launch in the US this year with a membership model; the platform will also include features that help users manage their money as well as send funds home; they will compete with some other names in the US like Deserve, Nova Credit and WorldRemit; CEO Magnus Larson noted that there are 60-65 million people in the US that don’t have proper banking services with more than half being migrants; the company plans to build their user base through a community referral system which includes brand ambassadors and physical meetup locations.
