Beleaguered hedge fund investor, Neil Woodford, has sold off large stakes in his P2P investment trust holdings; he sold £88 million in his P2P Global Investments holdings and over £40 million in VPC Specialty Lending while retaining his stake in Honeycomb; he was the second largest shareholder in both P2P Global and VPC; experts have said that once the market digests the end of Woodford’s overhang, sector pricing could rebound strongly.
