Learnings from a Community Bank Fintech Accelerator

Nbkc is based in Kansas City and is one of the first community banks to create their own fintech accelerator; called Fountain City Fintech, the accelerator ran from October 1st through December 14th and included six companies; one fintech called Track was part of the program and Nbkc subsequently decided to invest in them; Nbkc is taking an interesting approach by not just getting access to early stage startups for themselves but also has plans to offer products to other banks; another example of the bank being forward thinking was their investment in ProPair, a company which connects mortgage leads to the loan officer.
