JPMorgan Builds Cloud Engineering Center in Seattle

JPMorgan has come to understand how important cloud computing is to the future of the bank; they recently created a cloud computing hub in Seattle where they hired 50 people with plans to hire 50 more soon; JPMorgan was struggling with how they would find the talent for their plans, they found moving to Seattle was the key; Seattle has become one of the few places in the world with a concentration of such talent; Seattle is home to cloud providers for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud; JPMorgan has become a leading bank in cloud services by creating their own private cloud in 2016; most of the new hires have come from the big tech giants, individuals from these firms have worked on the type of scale the bank is seeking.
