Iwoca Launches Lending as a Service Platform

UK based small business lender Iwoca is launching a lending as a service platform so other fintechs can add lending to their services; the new platform is called OpenLending and already has 14 partners who were existing partners of Iwoca; “The concept of OpenLending has the potential – through collaboration with the banks and fintech partners – to fix some of the biggest problems SMEs will face in the coming months,” said Christoph Rieche, CEO and Co-Founder, to AltFi; lending to small businesses has become more important than ever with coronavirus fears grip[ping economies all over the globe; launching today might give Iwoca a foothold in a market that is sure to become more crowded with social distancing becoming the norm for the next few months.
