IBM Partners with Shuttle Holdings on Crypto Custody Solution

Shuttle Holdings is preparing to launch a beta custody solution for digital assets built on IBM’s private cloud and encryption technologies; the solution will not store cryptocurrencies but instead offer tools for others to do so; “We have a list of selected clients that we are launching limited service with this month,” Brad Chun, Shuttle’s chief investment officer said to CoinDesk. The service is “not open to the public yet and there is a wait list to get into our beta.”; the move shows IBM is getting deeper into the digital asset market; the solution is not cold storage and is just as secure or even more secure than cold storage according to Chun.
