Funding Circle Asks Shareholders to Approve Wind-Down of Fund

Funding Circle is recommending shareholders to approve the wind-down of the Funding Circle SME Income Fund; the fund will continue their quarterly dividend payments until at least March 31 2020; according to Numis who is acting as financial advisor and broker to the trust, the trust posted NAV total returns of 15.5% or 4.3% per year since it began in 2015; the lower returns were affected by returns of the US portfolio, hedging US exposure into sterling as well as by higher operating costs; Samir Desai, CEO of Funding Circle said that they are launching two new institutional products in the UK.
