FIS Launches $150 Million Fintech Venture Fund

FIS now has a venture arm and aims to invest up to $150 million in fintech in the next three years; the venture fund will invest across the globe in early to growth stage startups with a focus on AI and machine learning, digital enablement and automation, data and analytics, security and privacy, distributed ledger technology and financial inclusion; FIS will also provide operational support and access to their channel partners and banking clients; the first investment made by FIS Ventures was in Flutterwave, a Nigeria-based startup.
