Fidelity Will Soon Offer Cryptocurrency Trading

Fidelity Investments said that it will allow its institutional customers to buy and sell Bitcoin “within a few weeks” according to a story in Bloomberg; the company already has a custody service to allow the storage of Bitcoin making it an early mover among large investment managers; in a survey that Fidelity released last week it said that 47% of institutional investors think digital assets make a worthwhile investment; they are currently running a pilot with a select set of clients.
