Digital and Traditional Banks Making Digital Headway

A new survey by Cornerstone Advisors examined six questions about consumers primary financial institution and found some interesting trends amongst digital and traditional banks; Ron Shevlin of Cornerstone Advisors dug into the conclusions finding that digital banks scored high marks on making it easier to manage your financial life; millennials do not hate big banks as they rated them higher than older consumers; Capital One was rated surprising higher than expected and it could be in part because of the success of Capital One Cafe’s; Wells Fargo is feeling the hurt from their accounts scandals as they have lost millennial customers who say they are no longer banking with them; credit unions and community banks are both feeling the pain and have work to do with building out a better digital experience.
