Brex and Amex Competitor Ramp Raises $25 Million

Ramp is a credit card startup focused on corporate cards; the company is New York based, founded by a team that sold their last venture to Capital One; the company has now raised $25 million and has signed up nearly 100 businesses for their card; Founders Fund, BoxGroup, Coatue and Conversion Capital are among the investors; the company has been compared to the startup Brex which was valued at $2.6 billion last year though CEO Eric Glyman notes to Fortune that what sets them apart is that the company helps card holders save money by identifying wasteful spending.
