BBVA Offering Real Time Payments Through Visa Direct

BBVA Open Platform, a banking-as-a-service platform, allows their partners to build financial products through their APIs; they have now added real time payments through Visa Direct that includes ACH, digital bill pay, push and pull payments and more; Visa Direct had two billion transactions on an annualized basis at the end of last year; BBVA Open Platform already have two fintechs signed up for their real time payments service: Wise and Tuvoli; Susan French, Head of Product and Client Operations at BBVA Open Platform, said, “BBVA Open Platform has always been committed to the democratization of financial services, and the Move Money API is a prime example of that philosophy.
