BBVA has announced a partnership with Amazon; the partnership is first focused on selling physical products but it’s clear that BBVA is interested in selling financial products directly through Amazon; the bank noted that they currently sell 60% of products through digital channels and the partnership with Amazon could grow this even further; while potentially an interesting opportunity for the bank AltFi noted that it is “an idea still to be fully explored”.
