Barclays Uses Retail Partners to Build Business Ahead of Full US Launch

Known as one of the top banks in the UK Barclays has been growing their presence in the US by building a credit card business with partners like Uber, Apple and JetBlue; Barclays began their US push by acquiring branchless startup Juniper Bank in 2004; building through retailers allows the bank to connect the customer with a more natural, noticeable brand; Barclays plans to launch a digital only bank soon.
