Banks Pull Ahead Insurance Companies in Digital Transformation

A new report by Capgemini shows that banks are ahead of the insurance counterparts when it comes to transforming their businesses for the digital world; 38 percent of banks say they have the necessary digital and leadership capabilities, while insurance companies show 30 percent; banks are doing best in customer experience and internal operations; while both types of firms feel they are making progress there is still a long way to go; three key areas where they need to do better are enhancing agility, attracting the right talent and personalizing products and services.
