Recently fintechs have been allowed to participate in providing Paycheck Protection Program loans; in some cases fintechs are working by themselves to provide PPP loans and in others they have partnered with a bank to make an offering possible; current approved fintech PPP lenders include PayPal, Quickbooks, Square, OnDeck and Funding Circle; those that have partnered with banks include Kabbage, Fundera, Lendio, Brex, Fundbox, Bluevine and Nav; the four banks currently working with these fintech companies include Cross River Bank, Celtic Bank, Radius Bank and Sunrise Banks; while Senator Rubio recently shared that the initial $349 billion allocated to small businesses under the program has run out, it is expected that more funds will be appropriated soon.
