Alipay Executive Chairman Calls for More Cross-Border Cooperation

Writing an opinion piece in the FT Executive Chairman of Alipay Eric Jing calls for increased cooperation amongst companies even as the trend of distrust continues to increase; Jing writes in the FT, “When I speak with entrepreneurs from small and micro enterprises from Africa, Asia, and Europe, I become even more convinced that technology has the potential to connect them and bring opportunities for more inclusive growth.”; he calls for greater transparency amongst big technology companies and better training for communities who have been left behind; he believes technology can help to solve many challenges and that the private sector and public sector need to do more to encourage cooperation instead of division; he writes this message on the event of leaders gathering in Davos where he hopes to bring his message of cooperation to other leading executives.
