Business Insider explores 5 companies that are making it easier for Americans to save and invest; they are backed by big names including Citi Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, FIS and Mark Cuban to name a few; ChangEd is a Chicago based startup which collets a users’ spare change to make payments on student loans; Digit is also an app which helps users save but targets specific savings categories; Qapital offers savings, investing and checking accounts to give users insight into their “spending sweet spot”; Qoins helps their users set aside money to automate payments to lenders to pay off both credit cards and student loans; finally Tally is focused on helping users payoff credit card debt in a unique way by offering a line of credit.
